One of our customers asked if we could transform some embroidered wall hanging panels incorporating small mirrors he had bought in India into Roman blinds. Of course we could!

Lesley worked her magic and here are a couple of the panels and then two of the resulting blinds .

Blinds to a Curved Bay

Our customer wanted dress curtains and blackout blinds to three windows within a curved bay and didn’t want the rail or tops of blind mechanisms visible. The solution we came up with was a covered lath. This is a thin strip of wood covered in the main fabric fixed to the ceiling.

Here is some superb work by Eddy Richards, our upholsterer. Although wonderfully shaped, these chairs had seen better days until he combined his skills with the fabric we supplied and produced a complete transformation.
The open-arm chair is in Colefax & Fowler “Bennett” and the button-back in Colefax & Fowler “Hardwick”.

This is a small bedroom window which our client wanted to look larger. Lesley’s solution is shown. Using a stunning William Yeoward fabric for the curtains and a contrast fabric for the pelmet from the same supplier, the curtains extend way back from the window’s frame producing the desired grand effect.
