Our Mission & Vision

Our commitment at Cotswold Curtains & Interiors is to consistently provide a comprehensive and trustworthy service, to uphold the highest standards of workmanship, and deliver exceptional value that consistently surpasses your expectations. With a vision deeply rooted in our sincere belief, we aspire to infuse your home with a genuine warmth and refined style. Our dedication is evident in the meticulous craftsmanship, the relentless pursuit of the finest fabrics and materials, and an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. The result is a quality that transcends the visual, creating an ambience you can see and feel daily.

How Can We Help?

Our private clients typically fall into two categories: those with a clear vision and those unsure or without specific preferences. For those with a clear vision, we fulfil their requests, offering practical advice when needed. For the undecided, we serve as the ideal solution. Window treatments significantly impact a room's decor, and we understand the nuances involved. Whether it's creating a dramatic focal point or providing a subtle background, we guide you through fabric and style choices. Contemporary or traditional, sophisticated or minimalist, rustic or chic – your instincts guide our collaborative process. We offer ideas, suggestions, and examples, prioritising your vision without imposing preconceived notions. Achieving your ideal room is just an email or phone call away.

How We Operate

For those in Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, or Wiltshire, if you know your
requirements, provide rough measurements and style details for a preliminary
estimate. If this is within budget, we'll visit, take precise instructions, and offer a
written quotation. If accepted, we will ask for a deposit to cover fabrics and hardware
and you pay the remainder when we deliver, install and dress your curtains and
blinds.

We can source fabrics competitively or are happy to work with the fabric you provide.
For broader interior design needs, we partner with Fairfax Thomson Interiors in
Cirencester, who offer over 25 years of experience, blending classic English styling
and French chic.

Read Our Reviews

“Lesley is an artist. She has a knowledge and understanding of fabric, which enables her to make beautiful curtains of the highest quality and a feel for colour, producing beautiful cushions and complementary accessories. We had curtains made a few years ago. This revitalised our house. Sadly, we are now moving. Lesley was at the top of my list to contact for curtains for our new house. Can I also put in a word for the skilful team that supports her in making the curtains?”

Our Terms Of Business

  1. If you accept our quotation, we agree to provide the service described in it and any items specified in it at the costs detailed with care and skill to our usual high standards. By accepting our quotation, you would agree to these terms and any quoted prices.

  2. Our make-up charges include delivery, hanging/installing, and dressing if those services are agreed upon in advance.

  3. Any changes to the specifications must be agreed upon in writing, and the cost may be reduced or increased accordingly. You will be advised in advance of any such charges.

  4. While we will endeavour to adhere to any agreed completion dates, we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by circumstances that are out of our control.

  5. If you are supplying your fabric, you must deliver it to us. We will inspect all fabrics for flaws and advise you if any are found before cutting.

  6. We cannot be held responsible for fabric fading caused by sunlight or for shrinkage to curtains, blinds or soft furnishings steamed, washed, dry-cleaned or exposed to varying humidity.

  7. Prices quoted for any hardware (poles, tracks, etc.) referred to in the quotation are for supply only.

  8. We will recommend an approved specialist to install any hardware, which you will pay directly. The fee shown in the quotation estimates the eventual fee subject to any variances that occur on-site.

  9. Choose to install your hardware or have it installed by your contractor. We cannot take any responsibility for any failure, faults or other problems arising from that installation.

  10. If you change your mind about the fabric ordered, the supplier may accept its return but charge a re-stocking fee if we haven't cut into it.

  11. Once poles and tracks have been made to specific measurements, suppliers will not accept them back and refund should you change your mind.

  12. In the unlikely event of a problem with an order, whether our fault or yours, it must be brought to our attention within 30 days of delivery, and wherever possible, we will rectify it. After that, charges may be made for any corrections agreed upon where we are not at fault. We will not be responsible for any costs involved if you have another contractor make alterations or changes to goods we have made without our agreement.

  13. The total cost of fabrics, other than linings and hardware we are supplying, are payable in the form of a non-refundable deposit upon confirmation of the order, with the making costs payable on delivery by cheque or credit card or within twenty-four hours if paid by internet banking.

  14. We may request a 50% advance on the making costs of larger projects.

  15. There is no surcharge for payment by credit card, but we ask that invoices exceeding £2,000 be paid online.

  16. We request that you, whether the end client or an instructing interior designer, be on-site when we deliver and install your goods to approve the finished project at that time.
